How to import your bookmarks

Move your bookmarks from any browser into Bookmarkme in under a minute. Export an HTML file from your browser, then drag it into Bookmarkme.

Step 1: Export from your browser

Google Chrome
  1. Open Chrome and click the three dots menu (⋮) in the top right
  2. Go to Bookmarks and listsBookmark manager
  3. Click the three dots menu (⋮) in the top right of the Bookmark manager
  4. Select Export bookmarks
  5. Save the HTML file to your computer
Firefox
  1. Open Firefox and press Ctrl+Shift+O (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+O (Mac) to open the Library
  2. Click Import and Backup in the toolbar
  3. Select Export Bookmarks to HTML...
  4. Choose a location and save the file
Safari
  1. Open Safari on your Mac
  2. Go to FileExportBookmarks...
  3. Choose a location and save the HTML file
Microsoft Edge
  1. Open Edge and click the three dots menu (⋯) in the top right
  2. Go to FavoritesMore options (⋯)
  3. Select Export favorites
  4. Save the HTML file to your computer

Step 2: Import into Bookmarkme

  1. Open the Bookmarkme extension and click Import in the sidebar
  2. Drag your exported HTML file into the drop zone, or click to browse
  3. Choose which collection to import into
  4. Click Import — that's it!

Tip: After importing, try clicking Summarize on any bookmark to let AI auto-tag and categorize your bookmarks for you.
